My friend has a Sony Vaio laptop and just yesterday morning it was working really fine. He said that he was using the laptop in the afternoon for less than an hour playing "free cell". Then suddenly, the laptop turned off by itself then when he tried to turn it on, it doesn't work anymore.
He brought it to me and told me to do my best to fix it. I don't own any laptop(yet), so i actually have fewer knowledge on laptops compared to desktop computers. I did some research on forums last evening and found out some solutions, i tried it on the laptop and still it doesn't work. I am still in the process of trying to figure out what might be the problem.
I also think that the problem might be in the AC power, but i do not have the idea on how to try if it work. I hope someone can help me out with this. Here are some of the information i got.
1. The AC power was plugged in during the time that the computer turned off.
2. He was using the laptop was charging.
3. The AC power was bought last week. It is a universal charger since the original was lost.
Any help would really be appreciated.
