If you own a computer, definitely you have encountered a lot of computer problems. I have heard a lot of my friends telling me that their computer is not anymore working find as what it is before. Definitely, as time goes by, a computer will degrade when it comes to its performance, but this does not happen drastically. The number one reason why computers will experience problems is the “USER”. A computer is made to last for a decade. With the recent technologies that we have today, the life of the computer has gotten longer compared with the past years.

Now, why are their people claiming that there computer have slowed down or they encounter annoying errors just after a couple of months that they have purchased their computer? Base on what I have read, about 80% of computer users are not doing some maintenance task on their computer which is becoming the reason why it is slowing down or having some problems. Computer users should be educated when it comes to proper maintenance of their computer so that error or computer problems would lessen.

Here are some computer problems you might have encountered:

Computer have slowed down

This is the most common computer problem encountered by a lot of computer users today and this is because they fail to maintain their computer properly. Maintenance of your computer is very much important, once you can do some maintenance on your computer, you can surely experience some changes with it. You can find a lot of information about maintaining your computer online. Find some information that you think can be useful for you and is very easy to understand. 

Reboots on its own

A lot of computers today are having some problems because of how a user handles it. Freezing and BSD on computers is a serious problem that needs to be addressed immediately. Typically, this problem has something to do with your hardware components like the power supply or your cooling fan. Freezing and then shutting down on its own is one of the computer ways to protect itself from damages. If you have some problems with your cooling fans and power supply it can damage components in your motherboard. If you experience this computer problem, make sure you have it checked by an expert.

Computer freezes and blue screen of death

In most cases when you experience this computer problem, the reasons for this are spy-ware and viruses. The best thing that you can do in order to safeguard your computer from these problems is to have good anti-virus software installed on your computer. With this, no nasty viruses will enter your computer and ruin your computing experience.

Problem in my friend's Laptop

My friend has a Sony Vaio laptop and just yesterday morning it was working really fine. He said that he was using the laptop in the afternoon for less than an hour playing "free cell". Then suddenly, the laptop turned off by itself then when he tried to turn it on, it doesn't work anymore.

Antivirus Tools Pack 2011

When it comes to computer virus, I am definitely sure that a lot of us knows pretty well that we need to protect your computer by installing some antivirus software. The problem comes when people would think that having two or more antivirus application can give you more security. This is definitely wrong since it will just make your computer slow down. The idea is good, but installing two AV will have some conflicts. This can cause your computer some errors that you usually see on computer with only one AV.

There are some who did not know that they already have two antivirus applications in their computer. One of the experience that is had is he observed that his antivirus software is not working good for him anymore so he tried another antivirus program without installing the other AV program. 

As far as I could remember there is an AV program that will not allow you to install it on your computer if it can detect another AV program on your computer. If I could remember it right it is Norton. The antivirus that is mostly see that are being installed together with other antivirus are AVAST, AVIRA, AVG and MC AFEE. The best thing that you can do when you experience some problem in your computer because of the two AV programs that you have installed, try to uninstall one or both and try other AV program that would work best for you. Uninstalling programs can easily be done in the control panel, but some would experience some problem half way through the uninstall process. You cannot uninstall the AV anymore. This is the time that you will need the “AV uninstall tool packs 2011”.  You can download the application here.

Unable to open any programs in Windows

Just last week, my friend came to me saying that his computer has some problems and he wants to have it formatted. I ask him why and he said that all the programs were not working anymore. The first thing that came into my mind is a virus might have done this. I looked at his computer that night and i discovered that when programs in his computer is run, it will ope then "open with window". 

I immediately browse the internet and looked at how to solve this problem and here is how i did it.  

1.  type www.dougknox.com on your address bar

2. Looking at the left hand column,  simply click WinXP fixes

3. A list will be provided , then click File Association fixes

4. On the next list that will appear, click EXE file Association fix.  

5. then your done, restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

After doing the steps i have mentioned above and restarting my computer, everything was fixed. If you are having some problems like this, try the steps above, definitely it will work, if not, leave a comment below and describe the problem that you encounter, ill try to help as much as i can.
